Client Guide

This guide is here to help you feel informed, supported, comfortable, and confident before your session. Inside, you’ll find answers to common questions, details about payments and policies, and a clear sense of what your visit will look and feel like. It’s everything you need to feel grounded, prepared, and supported as you begin your healing experience.

It’s here to help you feel prepared and at ease. If anything is still unclear, you’re always welcome to reach out and connect with me.

  • Your session begins with a detailed consultation where we discuss your goals, areas of pain, past injuries, surgeries, and daily movement patterns. This is followed by a functional assessment to identify imbalance, tension, and structural patterns contributing to discomfort. From there, your treatment is tailored to support pain reduction, injury recovery, and improved mobility.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement. For orthopedic and sports‑focused sessions, certain assessments or techniques may be performed with you partially clothed or in athletic wear, such as shorts and shirt. Draping will be adjusted accordingly and will always maintain proper coverage to prioritize your comfort and privacy throughout the session.

  • If you have concerns about allergies or sensitivities, here is a full list of the ingredients used in the massage oil for your session. If you have an allergy that requires you to bring your own product, please contact me at least 24 hours before your appointment with a clear photo of the product name and its complete ingredient list so I can ensure it’s safe to use in session.

Orthopedic massage can support post‑surgical healing by reducing tension, improving mobility, minimizing post-surgical scar tissue and helping the body regain balanced movement. Before we begin we will discuss your surgical history any precautions and if your doctor provided any recommendations. iIf you’re also working with other providers, we’ll discuss their guidance as well so your care remains coordinated and supportive.

  • Not exactly— while the environment is calming and the touch is intentional. These sessions are focused on functional healing — reducing pain, restoring movement, and addressing the root causes of discomfort. You may still feel deeply relaxed, but the work is more targeted and therapeutic.

  • Yes — I accept both HSA and FSA cards for all eligible services.
My business is classified under the correct healthcare merchant code (MCC 8099), which allows most HSA and FSA cards to process just like a regular debit card.

Please note that approval depends on your individual plan, so if a transaction is declined, it’s usually due to your card issuer’s rules, not my system.

If you need an itemized receipt for reimbursement, you can enter your email or phone number at checkout and Square will send it directly to you.

  • My pricing reflects the level of training, specialization, and care that goes into every session. I offer advanced therapeutic modalities — including holistic massage, sports massage, orthopedic bodywork, and Reiki — which require ongoing education, deeper clinical skill, and longer session times than standard spa massage.

My rates are also aligned with the average pricing in the 77406 area and are competitive with other licensed therapists offering similar therapeutic services. I’ve intentionally structured my pricing to be transparent and inclusive, which means tipping is not required or expected. The price you see is the full cost of your session.

This allows you to relax fully, knowing everything is already included, and ensures I can provide high‑quality, sustainable care without relying on gratuities.

  • You may experience mild discomfort during certain techniques, especially when working with restricted or injured tissue. However, the goal is never to push through pain. We work together to find a therapeutic level of pressure that supports healing without overwhelming the body.

  • Every body heals differently. Some clients feel relief after just one session, while others benefit from a series of sessions to support injury recovery or long‑term structural patterns. We will discuss a plan that aligns with your individual goals and needs.

  • Yes — herbal and nutritional support is available as part of your session when appropriate. These recommendations are meant to complement your bodywork and support your natural healing process. I do not diagnose conditions or prescribe treatments; instead, I offer general wellness recommendations that align with your goals and can be integrated alongside the guidance of your healthcare providers.

  • Life happens, and I understand that schedules can shift. To honor the time set aside for your care and to ensure availability for all clients, please review the document for policies on cancelling and rescheduling below.

    Cancellation and reschedule policy

  • Clients under the age of 18 must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian before receiving any service at Elements of Earth Wellness. The minor must also be willing and comfortable with the session, and their assent is required.

A parent or legal guardian must be present in the treatment room for the entire session. This is required for the safety and comfort of the minor and to support a professional, therapeutic environment.

All consent forms must be completed and signed before the first appointment. The practitioner reserves the right to decline or postpone service if proper documentation is not provided, or if it is determined that bodywork is not appropriate at that time.

  • If you’re experiencing fever, active illness, or contagious symptoms, please reschedule. This protects both of us and ensures you receive care when your body is ready for it. If you arrive sick, the session may need to be rescheduled or canceled in accordance to policy.

  • A card on file protects the time reserved for you and helps keep the schedule reliable for everyone. Your card is only charged if an appointment is missed, canceled, or rescheduled outside of the policy window.

  • For most sessions, the treatment room is reserved for the client only with the exception of minors. If you need special accommodations, feel free to reach out beforehand.
